Technical Supporting Document

Project Endorsement Letter

Submit a video presenting your innovation case, including:

  • Case presentation and operational context
  • Identified problem or opportunity
  • Implemented innovation (what makes it different and disruptive)
  • Impact on productivity and/or operational efficiency
  • Results obtained (KPIs, improvements, benefits)
  • Alignment with business objectives and/or sustainability goals

Submit a technical support document in Word or PDF format (maximum 10 pages), including:

  • Case introduction and responsible team
  • Context and identified challenge
  • Description of the applied innovation and/or digitalization
  • Technologies used
  • Impact on productivity, efficiency, safety, and/or sustainability
  • Scalability or applicability to other operations
  • Conclusions
  • Letter signed by management or the person responsible for the process/project
  • Document certifying that the solution was implemented in a real operation

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Cases will be evaluated by an Expert Committee based on the following criteria:

  1. Clarity and Innovation
    How innovative is the proposed solution, and how does it differ from traditional approaches?
  2. Value and Potential Impact
    Level of real or potential impact generated in the operation.
  3. Impact on Productivity
    Measurable improvements in productivity, operational efficiency, costs, time, or performance.
  4. Scalability and Replicability
    Ability to be applied to other operations, processes, or industries.
  5. Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
    Contribution to sustainability, energy efficiency, reduction of environmental impact, responsible development, among others.
  6. Contribution to Digital Transformation
    Degree to which the innovation drives operational digitalization and data-driven decision-making.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The “Open Call” is organized by CIIT Peru. This event is aimed at a national and international audience. Participation is open to individuals and companies from any country, subject to applicable local and international regulations. All individuals over 18 years of age working in the mining or energy sectors may participate. To participate and be selected as one of the 3 winning cases, participants must comply with the following requirements: 1. Submit a 3–5 minute video presenting a success case already implemented in an operation (case presentation, identified improvement opportunity, explanation of the implemented solution, innovation, and digitalization in operational technology). 2. Submit a technical support document describing the implemented solution (innovation and digitalization in operational technology). 3. Submit a management reference letter endorsing the process/project and confirming its implementation.

La convocatoria inicia el 06/02/2026 y acaba el 09/03/2026, los casos se someterán a la evaluación experta de nuestro Comité y cada uno de los 3 seleccionados obtendrá: 01 entrada como invitado para el CIIT Latam Congress 2026 (única e intransferible), presentación de su caso de éxito (grabación de video) en el Panel de discusión (5 min) revisado y comentado en vivo por nuestro Comité y los Keynote Speakers; reconocimiento CIIT. Los casos que queden seleccionados por los expertos serán anunciados a través de nuestras RRSS “Ciit.peru” la semana del 09/03/2026 al 13/03/2026. En caso las grabaciones no tengan muy buena calidad se coordinará para volver a grabarlo y/o grabarlo con equipo profesional de grabación en oficinas (Previa coordinación). Si alguno de los seleccionados no puede participar, nuestros expertos elegirán a otro candidato calificado para tomar su lugar.

Participants authorize CIIT Peru to use their name, image, and voice for promotional purposes related to the “Open Call.” CIIT Peru is not responsible for any damages or losses that participants may suffer as a result of participating in the event.
